Reporting a wrong or missing tower

Our tower list comes straight from FCC records, so we cannot add or move a tower by hand. If a location, height or owner looks wrong, include the ASR number shown on the result and what you believe is correct. We will check it against the latest FCC file. If the FCC record itself is wrong, only the tower owner can correct it with the FCC.

If a tower you can see is missing, it is most likely not required to be registered. The guide to why a tower is missing from the map explains which structures are left out.

Bugs

Tell us the browser and device you used, the ZIP code or address you searched, and what you expected to see. A screenshot helps. Please do not send your exact home coordinates unless you are comfortable sharing them.

Embedding and partnerships

The locator can be embedded free on any site; the embed page has the code. For anything else, email us with your site and what you have in mind.

Data updates and privacy

The tower data is rebuilt every month from the FCC's bulk files, so a correction the owner files with the FCC appears here after the next refresh. We do not store your searches or your location, so we cannot look up what you searched; include the ZIP code or address in your email if it matters.

What we cannot help with

We are not a carrier or a tower company, so we cannot fix coverage, change a lease or pass a message to a tower owner. For coverage problems, contact your carrier. For a specific tower, the owner name and ASR number on the result lead to the owner's contact details in the FCC database.
